Run for people who can't. Power yourself up, do it for a good cause, and have fun not letting the catcher car catch up with you so quickly. With millions of people around the globe, side by side. Not for the goal, but for the miles you run. And the donations and entry fees that flow 100% into spinal cord research and help to cure paraplegia. The start is at exactly the same time all over the world. 30 minutes later the Catcher Car starts with a speed of 14 km/h and increases this speed constantly until the last runner has been caught up. The start and finish line for the App-Run Trins is located at the soccer pitch. There are parking spaces, WC facilities, our info point and the catering area.
There is also a refreshment station near the start where participants can enjoy free refreshments. The route is mainly asphalted, a small part of it is a well-prepared meadow path.
Wheelchair participants and runners start together side by side on this running course. The only requirement: wheelchair participants must start in everyday wheelchairs.
For our participants we offer along the route isotonic drinks water fruit for free.
You will receive your race number by email, a few days before the race you can also see it on the website, next to your race number. The Wings for Life World Run app is your time tracking tool. If you are registered and the app is opened on the day of the race, your race will start automatically. During the race, the screen can be turned off and the app continues to run in the background. The virtual Catcher Car starts 30 minutes after the start and you will receive a clear signal via the app as soon as it catches up with you. Please remember to fully charge your mobile phone on the day of the race.
To participate in this organised app run, please download the Wings for Life World Run app for Android or iPhone and register in the app for the day of the race. To participate in the Wings for Life World Run, an entry fee will be charged, 100% of which will be donated to spinal cord research. Once you have completed the race day registration, you can participate in this organised app run.
